A very special wine, with very high alcohol content, but still fresh and lively. Cherry pie with butter crust, ripe red berries, red delicious apple, and fancy strawberry jam. All the notes of Sangiovese are taken to the extreme. Falling somewhere between a food rosé and an after-dinner drink, the high alcohol (16.5%!) creates a greater sense of tannin and slight bubbles help lift the heavier notes. This is a very pretty monster.
