Meet the Winemaker – Loreto of Nerkihue Vineyards – Instagram Live!

Nerkihue is a family-owned winery located in Lolol, Colchagua Valley. The vines here grow on very steep hills with shallow grounds that benefit from the ocean breeze, creating wines that are elegant, fresh, and aromatic. All of their labor is done manually by families from Lolol to maintain the local identity of their wines.

Nerkihue’s production is limited, with little to no intervention in order to reflect the purity of the terroir. Their 2016 Quiebre Syrah, which is available in the Vegan Wines shop, is a modern wine that seeks to be different and stand out with its aromas, freshness, and flavor. The Quiebre is able to speak for itself without any alteration to its spirit. We’d also suggest that you try their 2017 Quiebre Malbec!

Vegan Wines visited this vineyard during our wine tour through Chile, and we are excited to speak with Loreto again on Friday!
